Cottage Meals 101

Are you in need of inspiration for your holiday at the cottage? This hands-on class will showcase some simple and mouthwatering dishes that you can make without relying on the BBQ. We'll cover planning and packing ingredients and share plenty of tips and tricks to make your vacation a gastronomic adventure.  

Example of Main Dishes Included:

Sheet Pan Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes and Feta

Veal or Chicken Scallopine 

Example of the Sides Included:

Arugula, Fennel, Cranberry and Parmesan Salad

Roasted Potatoes in Duck Fat

After the preparation, the chefs will help plate the food and we will sit down together to enjoy the meal. At this time we will talk about the. planning and organizing meals for a cottage adventure.

Please BYO wine if you would like to add to the enjoyment of your meal. 

Class Time: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

New Covid-19 Protocols

We want to keep everyone safe, especially those that

immune-compromised. But, unfortunately, social distancing is not always

possible in the kitchen. 

 

  • Facemasks are NOT required for attendees. (Facemasks are not a restriction; they are for protection. However, at the same time, they are optional based on every individual's needs)

  • Proof of vaccination is NOT required.

  • All of our Staff are fully vaccinated.

  • Our Staff will wear masks during the event to protect you and future clients at upcoming events. 

What to expect in our classes:

Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. You'll work with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Hands-on classes led by an experienced Chef

  • Learn fundamental skills for a lifetime of great cooking

  • Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish

  • Interact with the Chef for a rich learning experience

  • Classes are 2 to 2.5 hours unless otherwise noted above

  • Held in our state of the art catering facility

  • Intimate classes, limited to 10 participants

NOTES: 

Guests are welcome to BYO wine.

Menus may not be the same as stated in the overview due to seasonality and availability of ingredients. However, the final menu will remain faithful to the theme of the course.

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, this class has to be moved to another date, you will be notified at least 2 working days before the class. 

There is no refund for the class. However, if for any reason you can’t make it to the course, and you let us know 5 working days before the scheduled class, you can reschedule for another class of your choice.

If you have to cancel at the last minute, please send a friend in your place as we will prepared for the set guest count.
