Keto - Fine Dining

Everyone is talking Keto diet these days! If you are looking at taking this class, either you have decided to give it a try or have been struggling to make it work for you. Taking this class will provide you with an overview of harnessing all those healthy fats in the kitchen and making various delicious keto-friendly dishes.

Basically, Keto is a grain-free, low-carb, high fat, a no-sugar diet that has been hailed as a weight loss diet with side benefits for diabetes, epilepsy and even reducing cancerous tumours. If you follow this diet correctly, you will train your body to reach 'ketosis'. This is a process where the body burns fat instead of glucose. As a result, you will lose weight and have loads of energy.

What we cover:

We will get you started with some yummy recipes to help you transition into this diet.

Keto Smoothies: If you don't have time to make a full Keto breakfast or lunch, a Keto Smoothie may be the answer to keep you on track.

Bone Broth: Why it is good for you and how to make it just as an in-between snack. And, of course, you will use it in all of your recipes to give body and flavour.

Seed Crackers: For me, a huge issue was not having crunchy foods to eat with cheese, etc. I have developed an easy and nutritious recipe for these salty delights to help you get over the urge for hi-carb salty treats.

Keto Pad Thai: Using an alternative to wheat or rice noodles, we will make a delicious Pad Thai that will be your go-to when craving carbs - with no guilt.

Herb Frittata: This Persian-style frittata is a delicious low-carb meal with healthy fresh herbs.

The menu may vary depending on the season.

After the preparation, our chef will plate the meal, and the students will be seated to enjoy their creations. Please BYO wine if you would like to add to the enjoyment of your meal.

Class Time: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
